Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Girl Tech LLC, trading as Girl Tech HQ ("we", "us"), handles personal data when you visit our summit site, register, or buy the VIP All-Access Pass. Girl Tech LLC is the data controller for this information.

Data we collect

• Registration details: first name, last name and email address.
• Purchase status: whether you bought the VIP pass and the order reference (card details are handled by Stripe, not us).
• Marketing attribution: referral and campaign (UTM) parameters from the link you used.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and usage data.
• Messages: anything you send us for support.

How we use it and legal basis

• To register you and email your Skool community access link — performance of a contract.
• To grant VIP replay access after purchase — performance of a contract.
• To provide support and answer questions — contract and legitimate interests.
• To secure the site and prevent fraud — legitimate interests.
• To understand which campaigns work and improve the event — legitimate interests.
• To send summit updates or marketing, where permitted — consent or legitimate interests; you can opt out anytime.
• To meet legal obligations, such as record keeping — legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host the site, store data and send email on our behalf.
• Skool, where the community and sessions are hosted.
• Stripe, our payment processor, for payments, fraud prevention, tax compliance and receipts.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your data may be processed there. Where data from the UK or EEA is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep registration and purchase records for as long as needed to provide the summit and replays and to meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their local data protection authority. Email jessica@girltechhq.com and we'll respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential storage to run the site and checkout, and store campaign attribution in your browser to understand how you found us. You can clear or block these through your browser settings.
